In some of our latest pieces you will find the swirling cream tones - not to be mistaken for the sapwood, which incidently is as hard as the heartwood and polishes beautiufully as well. The place where sapwood meets heartwood is sought after by fine woodworkers looking for that extra difference..
Mahoe polishes beautifully and whether you have the gray, the blue, the pink, brown or purple tones, the chatoyance can dazzle.

Turning & Carving Blanks |
Blanks are partially sanded to allow a glimpse of the Mahoe colors, behind the rough sawn sides. All ends are anchorsealed and plastic wrapped. All blank sizes are in inches, and some include live edge and sap wood. These pieces have air-dried for over 14 months. We suggest that you leave them wrapped in plastic initially to acclimatize in your region and then monitor the drying. More about Blue Mahoe
